Lawyers for a Florida couple will file a lawsuit Monday over the “fake news” sign in the Trump International Hotel and Tower Orlando.
The couple filed the lawsuit in Hillsborough County Circuit Court, Florida’s Second District.
The complaint alleges the sign is illegal, but it does not specifically name the hotel or its owner.
It’s the latest in a series of complaints about the hotel, which is undergoing a $1.5 billion overhaul to transform into a more upscale hotel.
Trump has denied the sign violates hotel policy and said the hotel would pay $1 million to cover the cost of removing the sign.
