How the Hawaii Service Employees International Union is using the latest data to track labor violations

Labor groups and activists are using new data to build a clearer picture of labor abuses at Hawaiian seo companies.
The labor groups say the data is a step in the right direction but it’s not enough.
They want to see a better picture of the extent of the abuses.
The Hawaiian Service Employees Union said on Monday it has collected more than 30,000 complaints since last summer, when the labor group started tracking labor violations at Hawaiian companies.
Hawaiian seos are private companies run by and for workers.
They are typically located in Honolulu, the state capital.
The groups are calling on the state Department of Labor to conduct an investigation into the seo abuses.
