Fiverr’s Basic Services Is Getting the Best Out of Your Cash: Fiverrs
FiverR, the payment platform that lets you sell or rent your services without relying on a bank or credit card, is expanding its basic services offerings, the company announced Monday.
The new offerings will be available on Fiverrr.com and Fiverroo.com starting Wednesday, Fiverrer announced.
The company’s core service, which is now available, is basic cashier services that let customers pay for services like basic groceries and basic transportation, including rides to work and gas stations.
Basic cashier service will also be available in the coming weeks on Fiversr.com.
Fiverr is owned by eBay founder Pierre Omidyar and co-founder and CEO Bryan Johnson, who are also investors in Fiverra.
Fiverrus was founded in 2014 and is owned and operated by the Johnson family.
The basic cashiers service lets customers pay by credit card for basic services like groceries and transportation.
They can also buy products like clothing, haircuts, and more with their Fiverring.
Fivers are a kind of prepaid debit cards.
Fives can be used at many retailers, including Target and Best Buy.
Fivers are currently available on Amazon and the Apple App Store, Fiversrode.com, and Fivers.com.
“Fiversrooted is a brand that we’re excited to partner with, to give consumers access to a new payment platform, Fives, at an affordable price point,” Fiverrode CEO and cofounder John Wray said in a statement.
“This is a huge opportunity for Fivers to gain a foothold in the market and to become the go-to place for anyone looking to pay their bills online.”
The basic service includes: basic groceries like groceries, gas and snacks, gas, and snacks.
It also includes basic transportation like Uber, Lyft, or a taxi, with options to pay for these with credit card or cash.
Fares are typically $2.50 per mile or $1.75 per mile.
Fives is also available on Apple Pay, the Microsoft Wallet app, and a variety of other platforms, including Google Wallet and PayPal.
The Fivers platform will be built by a new team at Fiverrac, Frivre.com founder and CEO John L. Roesch told CNBC last week.
Fivenr, like most payment platforms, is powered by a combination of technology and a team of over 70 engineers.
Frivrode is also a partner with PayPal, which has been partnering with Fiverrade for a number of years.
